Regenerative Injection Therapy
When you have pain from an injury, I recommend regenerative injection as a safe and effective therapy treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. I offer perineural injection therapy, neural therapy, and trigger point injections to help your body replace damaged tissue with healthy tissue and become pain free as quickly as possible.
Explore the various illnesses treated by regenerative injective therapy.
Regenerative injection therapy or RIT is a highly effective treatment for pain caused by unhealed injuries. There are several parts of the human body that respond very well to RIT including muscle, joints, cartilage, ligaments, and tendons.
Regenerative injection therapy is commonly used to treat chronic joint pain as well as muscle injuries. When injection therapy is used on tendons and ligaments healthy tissue can grow and replace damaged tissue.
How can regenerative injection therapy help injury recovery & healing?
Injured tissue sends a signal to the brain telling your body to begin the healing process. In the healing process, your body replaces damaged tissue with new, healthy tissue. For many, this recovery process or inflammatory state can be very painful.
Anti-inflammatories and steroids treat the pain of inflammation, but they suppress the healing process. This is where RIT can help you heal faster, more naturally because RIT is designed to replicate the normal, tissue-healing process. By injecting a substance into your tissue, damaged tissue is stimulated increasing your body’s natural ability to heal.
Learn the four primary health & recovery benefits of regenerative injection treatment.
- Provides your body a more natural and less painful way to heal.
- Alternative to anti-inflammatories and steroid prescriptions and surgical procedures.
- Increases muscle and joint movement along with improved functional ability.
- Strengthens muscles and reduces pain levels.
FAQs of Regenerative Injection Therapy
PIT involves injecting dextrose along inflamed and injured superficial nerves that are often the source of acute and chronic pain. The goal of perineural injection therapy is to hydrate nerves, turn off pain signals, and release nerve entrapments. Chronic pain signals can lead to inflammation in an area and prevent tissue healing. Once the nerve is healed inflammation subsides and the surrounding tissue can heal, leaving you pain free.
- Shoulder, knee, hip, back, and neck pain
- Arthritis pain
- Frozen shoulder
- Rotator cuff injuries
- Tension headaches, migraines, and jaw pain
- Bell’s palsy and trigeminal neuralgia
- Sciatica
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
Neural therapy is the use of a local anesthetic (such as procaine) injected into areas of pain, injury, or scars. The goal is to alleviate pain and illness by restoring the function of the autonomic nervous system.
- Scars and scar tissue
- Headaches
- Sinus problems
- Digestive problems
- Chronic Pain
- Allergies
Trigger point injections are used to alleviate pain in our muscles that are caused by “knots” or trigger points. The therapy consists of injecting an anesthetic directly into the trigger point.
- Neck pain
- Back pain
- Muscle tension
- Tension headaches
You will pay for the cost of the office visit plus an additional injection fee that insurance won’t cover. Depending on the location and complexity, treatments cost in the range of $50-$200.
Improvements in pain are often immediate with PIT injections and neural therapy. Trigger point injections can have immediate relief, but more often improvements occur over several days.
Typically, four regenerative injection therapy treatment sessions are needed for acute conditions. Chronic conditions may require more RIT treatments.
